Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program optimization and well completion strategies
- Analyze production data to enhance recovery factors and reduce operational costs
- Develop AI-driven predictive maintenance systems for critical surface and downhole equipment
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and environmental safety regulations (HSE-MS)
- Mentor junior engineers and present technical findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with shale formations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling technologies
- Proven track record of reducing CAPEX by 15%+ through engineering innovations
- Strong data analytics skills with Python/SQL for production optimization
