Responsibilities
- Design and optimize well completion programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Develop production forecasting models and economic analysis frameworks
- Coordinate with drilling teams to ensure technical execution excellence
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with emerging technologies (AI-driven analytics, digital twins)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and production optimization software
- Strong analytical skills with experience in economic modeling
- Proven track record in leading field development projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data
- Knowledge of US regulatory frameworks (NPD, BOEM)
