Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning and production enhancement strategies
- Analyze well performance data to identify optimization opportunities and reduce operational costs
- Develop and manage drilling/completion programs aligned with HSE standards
- Prepare technical reports and economic evaluations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement in engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and forecasting
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record in leading complex field development projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
