Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir development plans using advanced simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well placement and production enhancement strategies
- Analyze well performance data to identify production bottlenecks and recommend solutions
- Develop economic models for field development scenarios under fluctuating market conditions
- Ensure compliance with API standards and environmental regulations (EPA, BSEE)
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream operations with major E&P companies
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation and production forecasting tools
- Demonstrated success in horizontal well optimization in unconventional plays
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility in Texas
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in oil & gas sector
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
