Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation studies and production optimization for unconventional assets
- Design and implement hydraulic fracturing programs using advanced software (e.g., Nexus, Petrel)
- Conduct economic analysis and reserves reporting in compliance with SEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Develop field development plans and AFE documentation
- Analyze well performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Stay current with emerging technologies in carbon capture and enhanced oil recovery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, tNavigator)
- Strong background in hydraulic fracturing and completions design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with unconventional plays (shale gas, tight oil)
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
