Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development plans
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program optimization and production enhancement initiatives
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration and production projects
- Develop innovative solutions for reducing environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency
- Oversee data acquisition and interpretation from seismic surveys and well logs
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory compliance and stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization and well intervention
- Valid P.E. license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Demonstrated project management experience with capital project budgets exceeding $50M
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital oilfields and AI-driven analytics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
