Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation studies and production optimization strategies for unconventional assets
- Design and implement advanced hydraulic fracturing programs for shale gas developments
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for drilling campaigns
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical deliverables across project lifecycle
- Develop integrated field development plans aligned with corporate objectives
- Interface with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Leverage digital tools (PETREL, Eclipse) for reservoir characterization and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with emphasis on unconventional resources
- Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Demonstrated project management experience in multi-disciplinary environments
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in carbon capture and storage (CCS)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
