Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets
- Lead production optimization strategies for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Conduct economic analysis and A&D opportunities evaluation
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional technical teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated reservoir studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional reservoirs
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong background in production optimization and well design
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep knowledge of Permian/Bakken/Woodford formations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
