Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Lead the design, optimization, and execution of drilling, completion, and workover programs to maximize production and recovery.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive reservoir surveillance, performance analysis, and forecasting to identify opportunities for production enhancement.</li><li>Develop and implement advanced stimulation techniques (e.g., hydraulic fracturing, acidizing) to improve well productivity.</li><li>Utilize reservoir simulation models and data analytics to provide strategic recommendations for field development and resource management.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production operations teams to ensure integrated project delivery.</li><li>Evaluate new technologies and best practices in petroleum engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.</li><li>Ensure all operations adhere to strict safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in petroleum engineering roles within the upstream oil and gas industry.</li><li>Proven expertise in reservoir engineering, production optimization, well completion design, and artificial lift systems.</li><li>Proficiency with industry-standard software packages (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, IPM, OFM, Prosper/GAP).</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership potential and experience mentoring technical staff.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>
