Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional shale plays
- Develop reservoir simulation models using advanced software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead field development planning for offshore and onshore assets
- Analyze production data to enhance recovery factors and reduce costs
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with R&D team on emerging technologies like digital twins
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations and reservoir engineering
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis software
- Strong understanding of EOR methods and drilling technologies
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (SPE) designation required
- Proven track record of leading complex field development projects
- Experience with machine learning applications in reservoir engineering
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
