Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead field development planning and production optimization initiatives
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for exploration and drilling projects
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Analyze subsurface data using Petrel and other industry software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater/superior projects
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, production forecasting, and well design
- Proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, and other industry-standard software
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Proven track record of optimizing field economics
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Knowledge of Permian Basin operations preferred
