Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development plans
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing hydraulic fracturing and enhanced recovery techniques
- Analyze production data using Petrel and other industry-standard software
- Develop cost-effective drilling strategies for unconventional reserves
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental stewardship protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and present technical findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with shale plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation (Eclipse, Nexus) and well design software
- Proven track record in developing greenfield projects in Permian Basin
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication abilities for technical documentation and presentations
