Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional shale assets
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in optimizing well completions and hydraulic fracturing programs
- Develop production forecasting models and economic evaluations for field development plans
- Implement digital twin technologies for real-time reservoir performance monitoring
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data and geological interpretations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and regulatory standards across all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracturing design
- Experience leading cross-functional field development projects
- Deep understanding of SEC reserves reporting standards
