Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Petrel and CMG software
- Lead field development plans for deepwater assets in the Gulf of Mexico
- Conduct economic analysis and risk assessment for drilling campaigns
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Ensure compliance with API and HSE regulations
- Develop innovative well completion strategies to enhance production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater focus
- Expertise in reservoir characterization and production optimization
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong understanding of drilling/completion technologies
- Valid P.E. license required
- Proven project leadership in complex offshore environments
