Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced drilling programs to optimize well placement and production efficiency
- Lead reservoir simulation modeling using Petrel and Eclipse software to forecast production profiles
- Conduct economic analysis for field development projects with 10+ year horizons
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geoscience, operations)
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols and regulatory requirements (API, SPE standards)
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil and gas experience with deepwater/shale projects
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel required)
- Valid P.E. license and active SPE membership
- Proven track record in developing field development plans (FDPs)
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies (IoT, AI analytics)
