Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and Eclipse software
- Conduct well planning and AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) analysis
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for field development
- Mentor junior engineers through technical training sessions
- Ensure compliance with API 14C and ISO 13609 standards
- Collaborate with subsurface teams on integrated field development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater projects
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger suite)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation experience
- Working knowledge of drilling fluids and cementing operations
- Proven track record in reducing drilling costs by 15%+
- Ability to travel offshore 20% of the time
