Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans and economic evaluations
- Analyze well performance data using advanced software (Petrel, Eclipse, OFM)
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with R&D on emerging technologies like carbon capture integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/MSc preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience with major operators
- Expertise in reservoir characterization, well testing, and production optimization
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analytics tools
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Deep understanding of US shale plays and Gulf of Mexico operations
- Proven track record of delivering cost-effective technical solutions
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
