Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program development and execution
- Analyze geological and engineering data to identify new hydrocarbon reserves
- Develop enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques for mature fields
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir engineering focus
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, CMG)
- Proven track record in reservoir simulation and production optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep knowledge of drilling operations and completion technologies
- Experience with unconventional resources (shale, tight formations)
