Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program development and execution
- Analyze geological and engineering data to identify new reserve opportunities
- Develop cost-effective enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques for mature fields
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML into predictive analytics workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil and gas experience with reservoir simulation expertise
- Proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, and CMG software suites
- Demonstrated success in EOR project implementation and optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reservoir characterization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects
- Deep understanding of Gulf Coast geological formations
