Responsibilities
- Design and optimize well completion programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, PETREL)
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to identify new drilling locations
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of critical projects
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental stewardship standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Expertise in hydraulic fracturing and horizontal well design
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and production optimization software
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience working in Permian Basin operations highly desirable
