Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead feasibility studies for unconventional extraction methods including shale gas and tight oil
- Optimize production operations through data-driven well performance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Develop cost-effective drilling programs and artificial lift solutions
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong background in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven project leadership in complex field developments
- Deep understanding of US regulatory frameworks (NORM, EPA)
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and AI applications
