Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional and conventional assets
- Lead field development planning and production optimization strategies
- Conduct economic analysis and reserves evaluations for capital investment decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional technical reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and carbon capture initiatives
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate subsurface data into engineering workflows
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir engineering focus
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus, GAP)
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development
- Strong analytical skills with reservoir characterization expertise
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (PE) or equivalent professional designation
- Demonstrated project leadership in capital-intensive projects
- Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder presentations
