Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs for unconventional shale assets
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using advanced software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for new wells
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for field development planning
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Expertise in reservoir simulation and production optimization
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard software (Schlumberger suite)
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with horizontal drilling and multi-stage completions
- Knowledge of carbon capture integration in operations
