Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on core HR policies, including onboarding, performance management, and compensation structures.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership regarding organizational design and workforce planning.
- Lead global talent development initiatives and facilitate high-impact learning programs.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations, providing empathetic coaching and conflict resolution strategies.
- Optimize the usage of HRIS systems to provide data-driven insights to executive stakeholders.
- Cultivate an inclusive and high-performance culture through innovative engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in California labor law and compliance.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup or scale-up environment.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Rippling, or BambooHR).
