Responsibilities
- Spearhead the technical design, optimization, and lifecycle management of upstream and downstream processing facilities.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols across all engineering phases and projects.
- Oversee project lifecycles from conceptualization and FEED through to detailed design, commissioning, and final handover.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments, feasibility studies, and technical reviews to mitigate operational risks.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Implement cost-effective engineering solutions without compromising structural integrity or safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven track record of 5+ years in the Oil & Gas sector, with a preference for offshore or refinery experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software such as AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, or Intergraph.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, RPE, or Chartered Engineer status) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of international standards including API, ISO, ASME, and NORSOK.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (verbal and written).
