Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future inventory needs accurately.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize store performance and drive revenue.
- Collaborate closely with the buying team to select the right products for our diverse clientele.
- Monitor stock levels and lead stock replenishment processes to prevent out-of-stock scenarios.
- Create detailed assortment plans and seasonal promotional calendars.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in the market and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Train and mentor junior merchandising staff on best practices and analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising or inventory planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high attention to detail.
