In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative product strategy and rigorous financial performance, ensuring our collections resonate with customers while maximizing bottom-line profitability.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our regional inventory strategy, utilizing advanced analytics to forecast trends and optimize stock levels across our omnichannel retail footprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal merchandise financial plans aligned with company growth targets.
- Manage open-to-buy (OTB) processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and cash flow management.
- Collaborate with Buying and Marketing teams to develop integrated assortment strategies.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on category performance and recommend actionable pricing or promotional strategies.
- Manage inventory allocation across digital channels and physical retail locations to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of data-backed decision-making.
- Present business performance metrics and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in merchandise planning or retail financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros); experience with ERP/Planning software like SAP or JDA/Blue Yonder.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable retail strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory metrics (GMROI, Sell-through, WOS), and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure retail environment.
