Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with business goals and seasonal trends.
- Analyze sales data, market reports, and inventory turnover to optimize product assortment and pricing.
- Collaborate with the Buying and Design teams to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Manage stock levels, replenishment cycles, and markdown strategies to minimize excess inventory.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation of new ERP systems and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a fast-paced fashion or lifestyle environment.
- Proven track record of analyzing complex data sets to drive sales growth and inventory efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in retail software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to retail locations and trade shows as required.
