Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Analyze sales data, market research, and consumer behavior to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure visual merchandising standards drive customer engagement and sales.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely product delivery.
- Oversee inventory management, including planning, open-to-buy, and allocation processes.
- Present monthly performance reports to executive leadership to justify purchasing decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising or buying.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
