Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with brand identity and sales targets
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform product assortment decisions
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal product margins
- Oversee inventory planning systems to maintain stock levels while minimizing overstock situations
- Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to create compelling in-store and online presentations
- Monitor KPIs including sell-through rates, GMROI, and category performance
- Lead seasonal product launches and promotional campaigns
- Mentor junior merchandising staff and foster collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management with 5+ years of luxury merchandising experience
- Proven track record in inventory management, assortment planning, and vendor negotiations
- Advanced proficiency in retail analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail) and Excel
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer psychology and market trends
