Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandise plans across seasonal collections, analyzing sales data, market trends, and inventory levels to maximize GMROI
- Collaborate with buying teams to assortment planning, ensuring optimal product mix and depth for key categories
- Monitor and report on KPIs including sell-through rates, inventory turnover, and margin performance
- Lead cross-functional meetings with visual merchandising, marketing, and store teams to align on execution strategies
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify emerging trends to inform assortment and pricing strategies
- Optimize inventory allocation across channels to minimize markdowns while maintaining stock availability
- Prepare comprehensive business reviews and presentations for senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years in merchandise planning or retail analytics with luxury brand experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and retail planning systems (e.g., Oracle Retail, Blue Yonder)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory management principles, and margin optimization
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of developing merchandise plans that exceeded sales and margin targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
