Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive inventory plans and open-to-buy (OTB) strategies based on market trends and historical data.
- Analyze sales performance, stock levels, and gross margin returns to optimize inventory placement.
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to ensure product assortments align with consumer demand.
- Forecast future sales and manage replenishment cycles to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for executive leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or merchandise management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing budgets effectively.
