Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans by category and department.
- Manage open-to-buy (OTB) processes to maximize inventory turnover and minimize markdowns.
- Collaborate with the buying team to align product assortments with regional performance metrics.
- Analyze weekly sales performance to identify risks and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with supply chain leadership to streamline replenishment cycles and logistics efficiency.
- Conduct deep-dive business reviews to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Forecast demand trends utilizing historical data and forward-looking market analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in merchandise planning or retail financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and retail planning software.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into business strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory metrics, and lifecycle management.
- Prior experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Retail is highly preferred.
