Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy forecasts.
- Analyze sales performance and inventory levels to identify risks and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to refine assortment strategies based on historical data.
- Manage end-to-end inventory lifecycle, including allocation, replenishment, and markdown strategies.
- Lead weekly business review meetings to present key insights and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Drive margin expansion through strategic pricing and clearance optimization.
- Mentor junior planning staff to foster a culture of excellence and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail planning, inventory management, or merchandising.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail planning software (e.g., SAP, JDA, or Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory turns, and GMROI metrics.
