Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive pre-season and in-season sales, margin, and inventory plans.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to provide actionable insights for future assortment strategies.
- Collaborate with the buying team to align financial targets with creative product vision.
- Manage OTB (Open-to-Buy) processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize markdowns.
- Monitor weekly business performance to identify risks and opportunities, adjusting forecasts accordingly.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to communicate inventory health and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning systems and data reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail planning software (e.g., Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder).
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, executive-level presentations.
- Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of driving margin improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
