Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandise financial plans to meet sales, margin, and inventory turnover goals.
- Partner with cross-functional buying teams to curate high-performing assortments based on historical data and trend forecasting.
- Monitor weekly business performance, identifying risks and opportunities to pivot strategy in real-time.
- Manage open-to-buy (OTB) processes, ensuring inventory levels align with fluctuating demand across e-commerce and physical channels.
- Analyze product lifecycle performance to inform markdowns, promotions, and replenishment strategies.
- Lead strategic business reviews with executive leadership to communicate performance metrics and forward-looking plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or JDA).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Proven track record of improving inventory productivity and maximizing gross margin.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
