In this role, you will shape the financial success of our seasonal collections by balancing creative intuition with rigorous analytical forecasting. You will collaborate closely with Buying, Allocation, and Supply Chain teams to maximize profitability and optimize inventory health across our nationwide boutique footprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy (OTB) strategies.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand at the category and SKU level.
- Collaborate with the buying team to align product assortments with financial goals and brand vision.
- Manage inventory flow, ensuring optimal stock levels to reduce markdowns and maximize sell-through.
- Provide actionable insights and reporting to senior leadership regarding regional performance and profit margins.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and risks to proactively adjust replenishment strategies.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to align supply chain capacity with marketing and promotional calendars.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail planning software (e.g., Oracle Retail, SAP, or JDA).
- Strong understanding of retail math, including GMROI, stock turn, and margin analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners and lead project-based initiatives.
- Prior experience in a premium or luxury retail environment preferred.
