Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy budgets.
- Analyze weekly sales performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the buying team to optimize assortment architecture and SKU productivity.
- Manage inventory flow, ensuring stock levels are aligned with forecasted demand and seasonal store needs.
- Partner with supply chain stakeholders to mitigate out-of-stock and overstock scenarios.
- Conduct deep-dive category analysis to influence future purchasing decisions and pricing strategies.
- Mentor junior analysts on forecasting techniques and data visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and planning software.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory turns, and GMROI.
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented retail environment.
