Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy forecasts.
- Analyze historical sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for future assortments.
- Partner with the buying team to align product strategy with inventory availability and financial goals.
- Manage inventory flow across multiple channels to ensure stock optimization and high sell-through rates.
- Conduct regular business reviews to present performance metrics and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Drive profitability by identifying markdown strategies and promotional opportunities.
- Monitor competitive market trends to adjust planning tactics proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or inventory management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with retail planning software (e.g., Oracle, JDA, or SAP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic actions.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale inventory budgets and achieving financial targets.
