- Validate models against clinical outcomes and regulatory standards (FDA/EMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into clinical decision support tools
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at medical conferences
- Mentor junior data scientists and ensure adherence to HIPAA/GDPR compliance
Qualifications
- PhD in Biostatistics, Medical Informatics, or related field with 5+ years' experience
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7)
- Proven track record of developing FDA/EMA-compliant predictive models
- Strong publication record in medical journals (Nature Medicine, JAMA)
- Experience with genomic data analysis (GWAS, variant calling)
- Deep understanding of clinical trial methodologies and regulatory pathways
- Certification in HIPAA/GDPR data governance protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for bridging technical and clinical stakeholders
