Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Analysis: Design and execute complex analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within patient populations and operational workflows.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) and comprehensive reports for executive leadership and clinical staff to support strategic initiatives.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to HIPAA regulations and internal quality assurance standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT and clinical teams to integrate data sources, troubleshoot data integrity issues, and optimize Electronic Health Record (EHR) data structures.
- Project Leadership: Lead data migration projects and conduct root-cause analysis for operational bottlenecks using statistical methods.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, health economics, or clinical research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python/R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare terminology, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
