Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis of clinical datasets to identify trends, reduce readmission rates, and optimize care pathways.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and clinical teams to design, implement, and maintain EHR (Electronic Health Records) enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in strict accordance with HIPAA and HITECH regulations.
- Develop complex data models and dashboards using SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and clinical leadership.
- Conduct audits and quality assurance checks on data reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in healthcare data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong working knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analytics.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data for non-technical audiences.
