Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of complex robotic assemblies and mechanisms.
- Perform advanced stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations using FEA tools.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems.
- Develop and refine prototypes, creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design reviews and best practices.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure product reliability and safety standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) and 3D printing technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
