Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for complex robotic systems.Develop and refine 3D models and 2D technical drawings using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA).Collaborate with electrical, software, and product teams to integrate mechanical components into fully functional prototypes.Conduct stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and material testing to validate design integrity.Manage the transition from prototyping to mass production, including DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) reviews.Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues during the testing and validation phases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, automation, or hardware industry.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo) with a strong portfolio of mechanical designs.Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, CNC machining) and material selection.Strong understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, and kinematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
