Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced robotic systems and automation equipment using CAD software.
- Conduct rigorous mechanical analysis, including stress testing, finite element analysis (FEA), and dynamic simulation.
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical components into control systems.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing of functional prototypes.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and design specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within robotics, automation, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Proven track record of managing projects from conception to production.
