Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and electromechanical assemblies.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) to create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings.
- Conduct rigorous prototyping, testing, and validation to ensure product performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers.
- Drive material selection and cost optimization strategies for manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design reviews.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the robotics or consumer electronics industry.
- Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
- Expert knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX.
- Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, CNC machining).
