As a key member of our R&D team, you will have the autonomy to drive technical decisions from concept to production, working alongside world-class experts in electrical engineering and software development.
Responsibilities
- Lead Mechanical Design: Spearhead the design of complex mechanical assemblies and subsystems for industrial robotics and automated machinery.
- CAD & Modeling: Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the fabrication of prototypes, conduct rigorous stress testing, and iterate designs based on performance data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical components into fully functional systems.
- Manufacturing Liaison: Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible, cost-effective, and meet quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, automation, or industrial equipment sector.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T, materials science, and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide innovative engineering solutions.
