Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex electromechanical assemblies using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or Catia).
- Drive the product development lifecycle from concept definition, prototyping, and testing to mass production handoff.
- Conduct advanced simulations including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and firmware developers to ensure seamless system integration and tight tolerances.
- Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to ensure product reliability, durability, and compliance with ISO/ASTM standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on manufacturing processes and material selection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Industrial Design.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing methods (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Experience with rapid prototyping tools and bench testing equipment.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
