Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process, from concept to mass production, using advanced CAD software.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies, material selection analysis, and cost estimation for new product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Develop and validate prototypes, perform stress testing, and drive design improvements based on simulation results.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and test reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and thermal management principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
