Job Description
Apex Dynamics Corp is seeking a visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation automotive and robotic systems. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of mechanical engineering and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we want to hear from you.
As a key member of our R&D team, you will bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and mass-production realities, ensuring our products are not only robust and efficient but also cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for complex automotive and robotic components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate product performance and durability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases, including rapid prototyping (3D printing), material testing, and stress testing in simulated environments.
- Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce production costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive, robotics, or industrial machinery sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes (CNC, Injection Molding, Injection Blow Molding).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
